BANQUET WITH JONATHAN FRID & GUESTS
On Sunday, July 18, join Jonathan Frid and the other DS stars for a celebratory dinner at 7pm in the Marriott ballroom. We'll have a delectable three-course meal followed by door prizes and after-dinner entertainment. Each banquet attendee will also receive a commemorative autographed photograph of Barnabas Collins, from the original negative, which will be personalized by Jonathan Frid. The cost of the banquet is only $50 per person and is non-refundable. Reservations are required and must be received by July 10. Send payment to the DS Festival address.
PLEASE NOTE that Jonathan Frid will be appearing only on Saturday, July 17 and Sunday, July 18, and that his autograph will be available only to those attending the banquet. If you are paying for the banquet, your first name will be personalized on the photograph - no exceptions. NO REFUNDS for the banquet for any reason, but if you must cancel, you will be sent the photograph autographed by Jonathan Frid.
DARK SHADOWS FRIDAY MOVIE MATINEE WITH JONATHAN FRID
On Friday afternoon, July 16, at 12:30 p.m. Jonathan Frid will be honored with a handprint in cement ceremony at the historic Vista Theatre in Hollywood. Following the event, the 1970 MGM motion picture HOUSE OF DARK SHADOWS starring Jonathan will be shown on the big screen inside the beautifully restored Egyptian-style Vista movie theatre. Admission to the event is only $10, including popcorn and a soft drink. For an additional $10, round-trip bus transportation will be provided to fans from the Burbank Airport Marriott to the Vista Theatre and back. The movie will finish at 3pm, allowing attendees plenty of time to return to the Marriott before the 6pm opening of the DS convention. Reservations must be received by July 10 by mail at the Festival address for those who require bus transportation. Fans who do not need transportation can purchase tickets for the Jonathan Frid ceremony and HOUSE OF DARK SHADOWS screening directly from the Vista Theatre box-office during afternoon and evening operating hours for $10.
